OUR CONTAINER HOME.We wanted to build our own home, but do something different. After lots of research we have built a home from shipping containers.The blog goes back to before we started to present. Now we are close to done but it's been such fun sharing with are followers, we blog everyday things.I have lots of experience in the construction field so i was confident in our ventures. Signs , signs , everywhere are signs !
The lettering are new friend Jerry did for us are done. We tried to keep costs down so we reused the 8' ice cream cone and the front metal sign. We just changed the name. Then he lettered the new glass which looks great. All the pictures this time are with the new zoom lens i got Katie for her birthday. We are finishing the painting and cleaning the glass blocks we exposed taken down the awning.I also have to install the tile on the right side to complete the front.We looked close at the glass blocks and one of them says " Philadelphia Glass Co. " , what are the odds ?
